| Summary | Due to factors such as ergonomics, vehicle functions and road design, drivers may drive over the speed limit imperceptibly so that it affects traffic safety. Because of the above reason, this study is made based on the review of references, to probe into the relationship between ergonomic and speeding as well as the analysis of the results of Accident-prone Location Improvement in Taiwan Area (1994~1998). This study tries to find an effective way to prevent the behavior of speeding. The major points in this study include the analysis of the current facilities installed in each city for preventing speeding, and the comparison of the differences among cities in order to provide a practical reference for establishing the strategies to reduce speeding. Finally, the conclusion and suggestion are summarized as a reference for decision-making and future studies. |
