| Summary | This project is the second-year phase of the two-year project and the focus of this project is as follows: Amendment of four laws related to the implementation of LRT: We invite experienced experts and professors together to discuss how we should amend the laws and regulations to implement the LRT. Furthermore, we translate in the similar regulations of Germany and Japan, made comparisons among them and then we finally propose our suggestions. Enhancement of the manuals: At the same time, we modify the technical manuals, including road engineering, traffic engineering, education and law enforcement, to be more sophisticated. Based on reports, design manuals and guidelines of other countries, we modify them with our traffic conditions considerations and propose our suggestions. |
