| Summary | This study wants to find what are the key factors that affect continued profitability of shipping company. We use DEMATEL method to find the causal relationship between all interactive criterion and use AHP and ANP method to get the weight and priority of each criterion. After verifying the result of this study through depth interviews with four experts, we get conclusions that the impact of market supply and demand on profits is at least 60% and will increase to 80-90% during the epidemic. This result is also consistent with the AHP weight of 0.65964 and ANP weight of 0.67520. The second most important is whether to join the alliance or not and the alliance efficiency (under the main criterion of shipping company scale). As for the rest factors, they will have different weights according to the different company’s operational strategies. |
