Summary

       In response to the global development trend of 5G Information and Communication Technology, and based on digital governance concepts such as digital transformation and digital twins, this project drew lessons from many new international discussions on intelligent traffic management, combined with 5G and AIoT related cross field technologies, putting forward the overall system planning concept of an "Intelligent Traffic Digital Nerve Center", which includes real-time detection, data analysis, prediction model, 3D visualization model, artificial intelligence
planning and decision model, real-time decision knowledge base and real-time processing response mechanism. This study presented how the intelligent transportation digital nerve center can analyze and extract important information from multiple traffic data, predict future traffic information, and then convert it into information services.
This project also showed the communication protocol and control of the existing urban traffic control system, and how to integrate seamlessly with the international mainstream vehicle networking communication protocol standards, so as to meet the needs of urban traffic management and standardization with the advent of autonomous vehicles, telecommunications vehicle networking and artificial intelligence. In this study, the implementation with the integration of an intersection traffic light signal controller is verified. Taking the emergency vehicle priority signal as the example, multiple information was collected and the travel planning services were provided. Furthermore, before
the emergency vehicle arrived at the intersection, 5G C-V2X transmission equipment was used to establish a connection with roadside units to provide priority signal services to ensure the priority and safe passage of emergency vehicles.
